Female duo Dodree has unveiled the track video for “Sa Gye Yeon Seo,” a song included on their second digital single. Released on the group’s official social media channels on the 11th, the video captures a serene summer set against a quiet countryside backdrop.
Scenes of the members wandering between a wooden verandah, shady trees and a rural bus stop convey an unhurried, comfortable atmosphere. With unguarded expressions and natural breathing, Dodree’s two singers bring out the song’s lyrical sentiment. The relaxed direction and soothing visual tone further underscore the mood of “Sa Gye Yeon Seo.”
Literally meaning “A Letter Across Four Seasons,” the track likens a yearlong yearning to a heartfelt missive, marrying modern production with traditional Korean musical motifs.
Dodree recently released their second digital single, HAWWAH (夏渦). Alongside the title track, they have rolled out distinct video concepts for the pre-release song “Lilac” and their new track “Sa Gye Yeon Seo.”
