Singer Ryu Su-jeong to continue music career under new label
Singer Ryu Su-jeong has signed an exclusive contract with entertainment company All My Anecdotes, the agency announced on the 2nd. As her first project under the new agreement, Ryu will release a mini-album on the 11th.
Ryu debuted in 2014 as lead vocalist of K-pop girl group Lovelyz, performing on tracks such as “Ah-Choo,” “Hi~,” “Destiny,” and “Now, Us.” She is known for her husky tone and stable vocal skills. In 2020, Ryu embarked on a solo career with the mini-album Tiger Eyes and expanded her artistic footprint by participating in songwriting. Last year, she released the digital single “Melted Love” and held her first solo concert, IT’S MY PARTY.
All My Anecdotes is a newly established entertainment firm co-founded by creative director Haee-in Lee and CEO Jae Yi Kim, a former Warner Music Korea executive. Lee gained recognition through her appearances on Mnet’s Produce 101 and Idol School before working as creative director for the group Kiss of Life. The agency’s roster also includes the virtual girl group OWIS, singer-songwriter and actor Eric Nam, and DJ Suki.
The label said it will fully support Ryu Su-jeong’s unlimited potential and musical growth, and asked fans to look forward to her upcoming releases. The new mini-album will be available on all major online music streaming platforms from 6 p.m. KST on the 11th.
