Yeonjun, a member of K-pop group Tomorrow X Together (TXT), has set a new solo sales record with his second mini-album NO LABELS: PART 02. According to Hanteo Chart, the EP sold 738,072 copies in its first week—making it this year’s biggest first-week total for a Korean solo artist.
NO LABELS: PART 02 surpasses the initial sales of its predecessor, NO LABELS: PART 01, which moved 601,105 copies in its debut week. On release day alone, the new album sold more than 660,000 units, and with just three days of tracking (July 6–12), it claimed the top spot on the weekly album chart.
The title track “Ice Cream” captures a cool-yet-sweet relationship, portraying two people who enjoy one another while keeping healthy boundaries. Critics and fans have praised the song’s sleek, refreshing vibe and Yeonjun’s choreography, which he co-created. His movements appear effortless but are difficult to replicate, showcasing a distinct groove—particularly in the “Oh girl, too hot, cool down your heart” section, widely known as the “Girl Too Hot” part.
On social media, “Ice Cream” has inspired a viral dance challenge. By July 17 at 10 a.m. KST, more than 67,000 TikTok videos had used the track, and it ranked second among rising audio clips on Instagram. Participants include TXT bandmates, ITZY’s Yeji, Seventeen’s Dino, CORTIS’s Sunghyun, TWICE’s Momo, and MEOVV duo Suin and Ella.
The official music video also hit streaming milestones rapidly: it exceeded 10 million views three days after release and reached 20 million views by July 16 at 8:20 p.m. KST.
